On March 16, 2026, Henan Efficient Machinery finalized an agreement with OTOJEN Otomotiv, a prominent player in Turkey’s automotive and chemical gas sectors. The project involved the manufacturing and export of a high-performance CO2 Pelletizer Machine engineered to meet strict industrial standards for dry ice blasting and cold chain logistics.
Addressing the Need for Versatile Dry Ice Production
OTOJEN required a solution capable of serving dual purposes: precision automotive cleaning (which requires small, high-density pellets) and chemical gas preservation (requiring larger pellets for longer duration). A standard, single-mold machine would not suffice.
To address this, we customized our 100kg/h CO2 Pelletizer Machine with a multi-mold configuration. While the standard unit comes with a Φ13mm mold, we manufactured two additional custom molds:
- Φ3mm Mold: Specifically for dry ice blasting applications to clean engine parts and industrial machinery without abrasion.
- Φ16mm Mold: For extended cooling duration in chemical gas transport.
This flexibility allows OTOJEN to switch production modes instantly, maximizing their return on investment.
Configuring the CO2 Pelletizer Machine for Stability
Industrial environments in the automotive sector demand equipment reliability. Downtime is not an option. Consequently, the client specified high-end electrical components to ensure continuous operation.
Our engineering team integrated the following premium upgrades into the system:
- Control System: Siemens Screen & Processor for precise automation and monitoring.
- Power Management: Schneider Contactors and Knob Circuit Breakers.
- Relays: Omron Intermediate Relays.
The unit operates on 380V / 50Hz / 3 Phase power, perfectly matching the industrial grid in Turkey. With a total power of 4kw and a liquid-to-solid CO2 conversion ratio of ≥42%, this CO2 Pelletizer Machine balances energy efficiency with high output density (1550kg/m³).
Integrated Storage Solution
Producing dry ice is only half the battle; storing it efficiently is equally critical. Recognizing the client’s need for a buffer between production and usage, we supplied a 315L Dry Ice Storage Box.
This heavy-duty, insulated container allows OTOJEN to run the CO2 Pelletizer Machine in batches, storing up to 300kg of product with minimal sublimation loss. This “Production + Storage” package ensures they always have inventory ready for immediate dispatch or on-site use.
Logistics and Delivery to Mersin
Given the weight of the equipment (350KG) and the volume of the storage box, we arranged a CIF Mersin logistical plan. The cargo, valued at a discounted rate of $12,710, is scheduled for sea freight directly to the Port of Mersin.
