- Dry Ice Blasting uses compressed air to blast dry ice pellets onto surfaces at high speeds to remove dirt through extremely low temperatures and impact.
- Dry Ice Cleaning: is an application of dry ice blasting specifically designed to clean equipment, moulds, etc.
Shuliy dry ice blasting machines use compressed air to accelerate dry ice pellets to a speed of approximately 300 metres per second. The pellets hit the object to be cleaned. The dirt on the surface of the object shrinks, becomes brittle and cracks, and because the surface cracks, the pellets can reach under the dirt and remove it. Immediately after impact, the particles sublimate and return to the atmosphere as a pure gas (CO 2 ), leaving no moisture behind. The only thing left is the coating/dirt removed from the surface. Due to the low hardness of the pellets, the surface of the object is not affected after blasting.
Dry ice blasting removes essentially all materials that react strongly to temperature differences. Paints, varnishes, adhesives, oils, waxes, asphalt, etc. can all be easily removed without damaging or altering the surface. Since the Shuliy dry ice blasting machine produces virtually no wear and tear, this technology is especially recommended for gentle and effective cleaning of any type of material in all industries, such as engine parts, automotive surfaces, transformers, insulators, injection moulds, waffle baking trays, etc..
Shuliy specializes in providing personalised and complete solutions to meet the specific needs of our customers. These personalised solutions can start with a dry ice blasting machine. We recommend different dry ice cleaning machines depending on your usage scenario.Shuliy also offers dry ice pellet machines to meet the needs of your in-house production of raw materials, thus reducing purchasing and transport costs.
- Initial investment: Dry ice blasting machines and air compressors require some investment. The exact price varies depending on the dry ice blaster machine model.
- Cost savings: Saves on chemical use and labour costs in traditional cleaning.
