How Does Our Sealing Technology Keep Dry Ice from Melting?

Insulation foam is only half the battle; the other half is the seal. If warm air enters the box, the dry ice will sublimate rapidly. To prevent this, our cooler boxes feature a wide, high-quality EVA sealing strip recessed into the lid. When the lid is closed, this strip is compressed to create an airtight barrier.

This seal is maintained by our robust locking systems. Whether it’s the rubber T-latches on our smaller models or the recessed twist locks on our larger units, they apply constant downward pressure. This design minimizes air exchange (convection) and ensures that the internal temperature remains stable, drastically extending the life of your dry ice or frozen goods.
