“Thermal conductivity” sounds technical, but it’s the most important number for a dry ice cooler box. It measures how easily heat passes through a material—the lower the number, the better the insulation, best insulation for dry ice. Our Polyurethane (PU) foam has a thermal conductivity (K-value) of just 0.022 – 0.032 W/m·k.

To put this in perspective, standard Styrofoam (EPS) typically has a K-value around 0.033-0.040 W/m·k. This means our insulation is significantly more effective at blocking heat transfer. For you, this translates to longer holding times. Your dry ice stays solid for days, not hours, allowing you to ship products further or store them longer without worrying about spoilage or sublimation.
