Is the dry ice from machine safe for food contact?
Absolutely. Food safety is a primary design consideration for our dry ice block equipment. The entire process, from the CO₂ inlet to the compression chamber, uses food-grade materials like stainless steel that will not contaminate the final product. Since the raw material is pure carbon dioxide, the resulting dry ice is also pure CO₂ in its solid form.
This makes it completely safe and ideal for direct contact cooling in food processing and for use in shipping containers as a reliable dry ice for shipping frozen food. It provides powerful cooling without leaving any chemical residue, odor, or taste, perfectly preserving the quality and integrity of your food products from production to the final consumer.
